THE STORY OF RIEBE'S TAXIDERMY

The first time Derek went to a taxidermist's shop, he knew taxidermy was in his future.

Whether it's fishing, hunting deer, duck, turkey, elk, etc...the outdoors an important part of Derek Riebe's life.  He was born and raised in Barron, WI in a family of outdoor enthusiasts.  Derek was also an accomplished wrestler for Barron High School. Around the time he graduated (2009), he began learning the art of taxidermy and in 2012 he married the love of his life Tracy.  They settled down in their home along the Yellow River and have spent years building the taxidermy business. Derek and Tracy have three children (Berkley, Nash & Cutter) and they also have a dog (Duke) and some farm animals.  By 2021, Derek built up Riebe's Taxidermy to the point where he was ready to go full time and so he took the jump and hasn't looked back.  Derek is grateful for all of his customers that have helped him get to this point and he looks forward to continuing his taxidermy work with them and new customers into the future.
